3 Healthy, Homemade Ice Pop Recipes for Kids this Summer!
Homemade ice pops are so easy to make! You can make healthy, homemade ice pops or popsicles for the kids from toddlers to adults with fresh fruit, veggies, juices, yoghurt, nuts and seeds and more! Homemade fruit popsicles taste, dare I say it, even better than the shop bought ones!
We are making these healthy, homemade ice pops on repeat . Here’s some easy recipes for healthy popsicles the kids will love making. Encourage them to get creative and customise their own healthy ice pops with fruits, juices, yoghurt etc.
These recipes are taken from our children’s cookbook Chop, Cook, Yum
Stuff you’ll need for all recipes:
measuring cups and spoon
blender
ice pop molds - we love these reusable ice pop bags
chopping board
child safe knife
Food you’ll need:
2 tbsp raw cacao - we love True Organic Cacao Powder
1 cup milk of choice
1 large ripe banana
1 tbsp peanut butter - we love Harry’s Nut Butter and Meridien
How to make it:
Blend everything in your blender.
Pop into your ice pop molds and freeze overnight.
Food you’ll need:
1 cup frozen mango
1 cup coconut milk - we use Biona organic coconut milk
1 cup spinach leaves
1/2 ripe banana
1 tsp vanilla extract
Strawberries and Cream Ice Pop
Food you’ll need:
1 cup Wexford strawberries, washed
1 cup Greek yoghurt - Glenisk is our favourite
1 tsp maple syrup
2 tsp chia seeds - we love Chia Bia seeds!
